Celebrate With Us!
The New York Chinese Scholar’s Garden at Celebrate at Snug Harbor is designed in the essence of traditional Chinese gardens from the Han Dynasty and boasts a collection of beautiful pavilions, handmade walkways, and architecturally stunning courtyards, perfect for your Chinese wedding.
The Tuscan Garden, modeled after the Villa Gamberaia in Florence, stands out with its magnificently landscaped terraces, formal water elements, topiaries and period plantings. The Tuscan Garden can accommodate up to 250 guests for ceremony, April-October.
The renovated Tented Pavilion is based at the edge of the breathtaking Chinese Scholars Garden. It is a pristine outdoor space with indoor comforts including restrooms and a beautiful stone floor.
Great Hall
The Great Hall boasts 40 foot ceilings ensconced by Palladian windows, authentic woodwork, two fireplaces and twelve cozy ewes that line the length of the massive hall giving it elegant old world charm ambiance. By adding inventive lighting, the room can be transformed to accommodate more modern tastes.
The garden design was inspired by Sissinghurst, the famous English garden owned by Vita Sackville-West, best friend of Virginia Woolf. The White Garden is comprised of plants that have either gray green foliage or pure white blossoms, such as white roses, hellebores, snowdrops, lillies, and irises.
