Booking a venue that offers everything under one roof with one package price is always going to be the best value. If your heart is set on a raw space, we recommend finding a local NYC wedding planner to help coordinate the different elements of your big day, but our planners are standing by to help you find the perfect wedding venue.
Having a wedding planner is always helpful, especially when planning an elaborate ceremony or reception, putting together a destination wedding or coordinating guests from out of town. Celebrate has been known to host events on holidays such as July 4th, Memorial Day weekend, etc. Of course, it doesn’t happen often, but we’re open to most holidays.
Making sure you and your bridal party are prepared to walk down the aisle is one of the final steps in the planning process! We can schedule a rehearsal for your ceremony, it’s not always done in case your entire bridal party can’t make it. The day of our team of Events Specialists will be there to ensure everyone is ready to walk down the aisle at a set pace and at their time!
Celebrate is in the midst of Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Gardens, New York City’s best kept secret. With picturesque landscaping, lush botanical gardens, and stunning architecture the options are endless – giving you 83-acres of greenery and peaceful pathways for an outdoor ceremony in one of our garden spaces, or even host your reception in the Tented Pavilion. Celebrate offers the perfect mix of indoor amenities and outdoor elegance.
Whether you choose our Outdoor-Indoor package or our All-Outdoor package, we have set back up plans for both wedding spaces. In case of rain our Events Specialists will communicate the situation at least 2 hours prior to your start time and with the approval of the couple our team will begin the reset for our rain plan.
The Tented Pavilion is available from April through the third weekend of October, comfortably accommodating between 220 and 300 guests, depending on your desire for a dance floor. While the tent is not climate controlled, we offer large fans for warmer weather and heaters for cool.
Corporate & Social Events
Whether you’re getting married, hosting an Engagement Party, Birthday Party, Sweet 16, Quinceanera, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, Graduation, Anniversary and a Bridal or Baby Shower, Baptisms, Communions, or hosting a group of corporate clients. Our Events Specialists work closely with clients to design and produce “one of a kind” events.
Snug Harbor’s expansive grounds are an ideal setting for entertaining large groups of corporate clients for summer outings, barbecues, team building activities, meetings, seminars and so much more.
The Upper Great Hall offers 2 TVs at no additional cost that can be accessed with a laptop and basic HDMI hookup by the client or entertainment company. Other areas do not provide AV equipment, making the entertainment company responsible for what they need on the day of your event. We are happy to connect you with our highly recommended preferred vendors.
Yes. Valet parking is also included in all our packages as an amenity.
Yes, outside décor can be brought in, please communicate with our Events Specialists about the décor you have in mind. The team will be able to provide you with a list of items that aren’t allowed in certain spaces. For example, balloons are not allowed in our Upper Great Hall due to its 40-ft. cathedral-like ceiling but are allowed in our Tented Pavilion space.
Guests minimum guarantee varies depending on day and year of your wedding. Please feel free to ask our Events Specialists for more information!
After you have signed your contract, you are financially accountable for that number. Although, you are always more than welcome to raise your head count, but not decrease it.
Our wedding package is a 6-hour time frame. We break it down for 1 hour for the ceremony, one 1 hour for cocktail hour, and the remaining 4 hours for reception.
We recommend couples start planning for their big day three to 12 months in advance of their wedding date.
Of course – We have many different options available for you to customize your special days, but if you don’t see something list you would like to include in your wedding day, our Events Specialists will do their very best to accommodate each wish!
Event insurance is becoming increasingly popular. Many couples choose to obtain day-of event insurance for added peace of mind. Generally, event insurance covers issues like medical occurrences, postponements, gifts, jewelry, supplies and more, though your exact coverage will depend on the insurance you select. Both The Knot and WeddingWire are useful resources when exploring insurance.

The Relish culinary team takes a global approach to menu creation, preparing farm-to-fork experiences across a broad culinary landscape with locally sourced ingredients, specializing in over 25 different cuisines, including Indian and Chinese.
The talented chefs at Relish can design an entire menu to suit any dietary preference or simply create a few special meals to accommodate a guest’s specific needs, including vegan, vegetarian, gluten and dairy free. Any known dietary requirements should be shared with your caterer as far in advance as possible for proper planning.
Yes, we do allow outside Kosher Catering at our venue for weddings and events. We work exclusively with Genadeen Caterers for Glatt Kosher weddings. For more information on Kosher Catering, send us an email.
Our Events Specialists are well versed in hosting weddings of different ethnicities and are more than happy to share our menus that we have served in the past to cater to specific kinds of cuisine, along with pictures and ideas.
