Couples Tribute: Michelle Montalvo Thomas Puma

Michelle and Tom both Staten Island Natives knew Celebrate-Snug Harbor was the best location for their wedding day. Snug Harbor is where they spent countless hours walking their dogs and soaking in the true beauty and nature of this location. Everything there was so meaningful for Michelle and Tom that it just made sense for them to get married in the Tuscan Gardens and have their reception follow in the Great Hall.

While planning their big day, the couple’s goal was to plan a wedding that was both timeless and elegant, but also organic and true to the nature of Snug Harbor. Both working in Design themselves, Michelle and Tom chose to have many DIY and creative details that added the perfect touch to their wedding. After the ceremony guests tossed dried flowers that were wrapped in vintage music sheets in the air that had notes of lavender and hydrangea.

Their reception followed with twinkling lights over the dance floor, tables adorned with flowers, succulents as favors, and so much more.

During the reception guests were treated to a wedding cake decked with a T-Rex Bride and Groom Cake topper along with an ice-cream bar. The dance floor was packed all night long and guests enjoyed taking photos in the photo booth. It was an amazing night filled with classic elegance, laughter and love.
